The WorKing Resilience Lab is located within the Department of Psychological Sciences at Rice University and is affiliated with the Industrial and Organizational Psychology group. This research group, led by Dr. Danielle D. King, partners with educational institutions, business practitioners, policy makers, and interested others to understand and positively influence resilience for employees, teams, organizations, and communities.

Our goal is to use quantitative and qualitative data via experimental and field research to answer important questions about resilience at work and beyond. We aim to offer useful, practical tools that help make the unavoidable and unexpected difficulties we face a “lesson learned” rather than an unfortunate “end.”
